We reserve the right to remove listings or suspend vendors who violate our policies.


5. Product Pricing & Availability

All prices are listed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) unless otherwise stated. Prices and availability are subject to change without prior notice. Souq Bangladesh is not responsible for pricing errors due to typographical mistakes or vendor misrepresentation.


6. Orders & Payments

Orders placed on the website are considered offers to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order for any reason.

Payment Methods Accepted:

  • Cash on Delivery (COD)
  • Mobile Banking (bKash/Nagad/etc.)
  • Debit/Credit Card
  • Bank Transfer (where applicable)

7. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery timelines depend on the location and product type. While we aim for prompt delivery, delays may occur due to external factors (e.g., logistics, weather, vendor processing). Souq Bangladesh is not liable for such delays.


8. Returns & Refunds

We offer returns and refunds based on the product category and condition. General return policies include:

  • Must be returned within 7 days of delivery
  • Product must be unused and in original condition
  • Some products (e.g., perishable items, cosmetics, innerwear) are non-returnable

17. Consumer Rights Protection

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009, we:

  • Will take responsibility for compensation in case of defective products sold directly by Souq Bangladesh Ltd.
  • Provide a dispute resolution system to resolve complaints between buyers and vendors

18. Complaint Handling & Dispute Resolution

If you have any complaint related to your order, please contact our Customer Support. If the matter is not resolved, you have the right to escalate the complaint to:

19. Data Protection & User Privacy

Souq Bangladesh Ltd. complies with the ICT Act 2006 and relevant privacy policies. We collect, store, and process user data in accordance with applicable laws. No data will be shared with third parties without user consent, except when legally required.


20. Prohibited Products

As per Bangladesh's e-commerce regulations, vendors are strictly prohibited from listing or selling:

  • Fake or counterfeit goods
  • Banned products (alcohol, drugs, pornography, weapons, etc.)
  • Products violating religious or cultural sensitivities
  • Goods that infringe copyright or trademark law

Violating vendors will be blacklisted and reported to the proper legal authorities.


21. VAT, Tax & Transaction Charges

Vendors are responsible for ensuring compliance with NBR rules regarding VAT, Tax Identification Number (TIN), and EVC code requirements. Souq Bangladesh may collect or deduct tax at source as per government instruction.


22. Digital Payment Regulations

All digital transactions processed via bKash, Nagad, Card, or Bank Transfer follow Bangladesh Bank regulations. Refunds for canceled orders will be processed within 10 working days, depending on the payment method.
